Lots of exhibitors and lots of hands-on fun! Join Lakota LEADS for a full evening of fun at this year's Pi Day happening March 14 from 6:30 - 9 p.m. at Plains Junior School. There will be many STEAM based hands-on activities that will entertain your K-8 students!

Lakota Gifted Services provides second opportunity testing to meet the cognitive score requirement.
Gifted Services is accepting applications for Early Entrance into Kindergarten and 1st grade for the 2025-26 school year until Thursday, June 12. Requests submitted after the stated deadline will only be honored for those newly enrolled into the district.
Creativity was in full display in Andrea Menchhofer’s art class as VanGorden Elementary fourth graders put finishing touches on their self-portrait projects. There was a special twist though.

The Regional Destination Imagination (DI) tournament was held on Saturday, March 2nd. Lakota has 13 teams with over 85 students participating in DI this year.
